About World of Mathematics.
A portal on mathematics — rigorous in substance, accessible in form, and deeply interlinked across fields.
What the site is for
World of Mathematics makes mathematical content visible that typically stays hidden inside textbooks and academic papers. The portal covers six disciplines — Algebra, Geometry, Analysis, Number Theory, Probability, and Applied Mathematics — and adds dedicated sections for the most important formulas, unsolved problems, the history of mathematics, and profiles of the people who built the field.
Sister site: World of Physics
World of Mathematics is part of a two-portal network together with World of Physics. Topics that live at the boundary — Fourier analysis, differential equations, probability — appear on both sites from complementary perspectives and link explicitly back to each other.
Editorial standard
Every page is written to be factually correct and conceptually clear. We favor plain explanations over jargon, but we do not shy away from formal mathematics when it helps. Strategic content — essays that place current technology or research in a mathematical frame — is written in the same tone as the rest of the site: informative, not promotional.
